Check your fuse, I had the same problem and went crazy checking wires and grounds. Today I was changing a fuse for my blinkers and I realized the "headlight control" fuse wasn't there. I put it in and now everything works lol

motors are messed up or the headlight motor buttom inside by the cluster, something there is messed up. trace the wiring and check your fuses. sometimes its something simple as the button got pushed and now they are stuck up.

1) fuse
2) popup button on dash is telling them to stay down (ON DASH, not the stalk where you normally turn lights on and off)
3) wires to button or motors are not connected properly

welcome to owning an old car.

If its cold out sometimes they will not work properly (which is why its best to leave them up during winter months).

one way to fix the lights during the winter though is to just flash your brights and they come up and stay up.
