Need help getting an sc300/400
Alright so I'm in need of a bit of help. I want to get either an sc300 or sc400.
OK heres my dilema. Do any of them come with manual transmission? I'll probably start working soon so I'll be able to buy it myself when I save up. Or, my dad is trying to bribe me with he'll buy me one if I enroll myself back into school pay for my license blah blah. I'll probably take up on his bribe if I don't get the job but, I'm doing fine at home school, I'm getting ahead better than regular school. Considering I do get the job what should I do? I'm 50/50 these two choices. I'm not asking like, what likes would look cool on my car type of question. What are you guys opinions on what I should do. Which of these you guys think would help out be better for my future?

only sc300 comes with manual and starts from 5000 depends on condition and mileage. if your budget is tight, maybe you should not get this cars because parts are expensive

SC300's came with manual occasionally, manual swaps are possible on both the SC3 and SC4.

I have a 94 5 spd. EDIT: Like what Soap said you should look into buying an auto and doing a 5-spd swap. They are much easier to find and are usually in better condition. Let me warn you though, parts are expensive. The are usually 2 to 3 times that of a 240. Visit Clublexus.com and reserach about the car before thinking about buying. Good luck! |

like stated earlier.
SC3's were in Manual and Auto. SC4's were only in Auto I've ridden in a SC4 w/R154 a few years ago and it was pretty nice, had a dual 3"? exhaust intake and headers and it was pretty fun. i would if i were you get your DL, Then go and drive a SC3 and a SC4 see which one you like more.

Awesome thanks for the info. Most likely I will end up buying an sc300 then swapping over to manual as i have done a AT to MT and didn't find it difficult. I was only 14 at the time too.
