i made it all the way last time ... you might be thinking of FMDL..
the video are on youtube just search FMDA round 1 and forzadrift.com has all the info on last round from 2007 . this round is going to be bigger then any comp in forza. the prizes are insane.

what are the prizes? I havent been on forza in a long time....so I would need to practice for this shit. it would have to be worth putting my build off on my car.

well good, then that means you can judge me as we practice! lol
so they are looking for "racing" lines for drifting? not the "gangsta specific" lines? I'm just thinking of how irwindale you ride the wall for most points. but then again formula d rules has no passing, as d1gp allows it. also, sandbagging? allowed? (brake check, heavy initiations, ebrake to correct line) sorry for all the questions, every competition i've been in, has slightly different rules. |

I thought I would share this with you guys, don't know if you ever visit the motorsports section. My motor is blown right now, so I gotta drive a white s14, you will see me driving it at the very end of the video. Oh, and I finally got to drive this!!!!! I want to be vaugn gitten.....hmmmm....maybe I can talk justin pawlak into letting me drive his FALKEN MUSTANG once he starts testing it!!!! lol..V8's are sooo fun! back on to forza! |

this is why I don't like the gush. forward to about 50 seconds in...watch gushi's front wheels. he does this at almost all events....looks poor, I couldn't find the atlanta video where he goes against foust...dude basically brake checks foust soooo bad, that foust has to spin so he doesn't crash into gushi. Remember...this is tanner foust formula d champ 2 years, the man doesn't spin! Especially the runs he was having in his v8 tc. |

you can clearly see how he doesn't get on the gas untill he is literally almost stopped....
sandbag in drifting (leader only) e-brake and brake at initiation when it should be a power over or clutch kick brake check while mid drift (tanner did this to someone in irwindale 2009) guys with more power will literally leave you at launch ( vegas 2009..you see a lot of it. Some guys couldn't feint into the drift to keep up with higher hp guys) formula d rules says lead driver has to have a run that is 90 percent of their qualifying run. Basically has to lay down the same qualifying run. Following driver just has to stay as close as possible. Sandbagging would be the lead driver trying to fuck up the follower. some of the lower hp guys have to "commit" to a run in order to pull it off, while the higher hp guys can just power through brake checks. it's not fair...but allowed cause this is "pro". also. sandbag would be if the following driver spun, the lead driver then would follow the guy with a zero, you would keep your distance...basically you get a zero for spinning, so you could litterally just light drift through the course. People don't want to see that...total sandbag. the legal sandbaggin would be taking a different line while still hitting apexes. This is what I will do to throw off people that haven't driven the course, cause you then have to learn a different line. I think this is fair, as i'm not changing my speeds. ( justin pawlak showed my buddy john how to do this....made me spin in top 4 in a comp for socal drift) Well played. |

If I have cocky drivers trying to follow me in forza on tsukuba, the first turn, and the second hair pin turn, i'll lock the brakes and stay pinned on the gas, usually they will slam right into you, or fly by you...or spin, cause its soooo slow drifting, but sounds like you are pinned. (my favorite and worst sandbagging I've done)
