While turning wheel hard to the left my electronics cut out the turn back on

Alright so I have a 95 240sx and been having some problems with the wiring on the car... When I turn hard to the left I've been realizing every once and awhile my lights inside and out will flicker. Dash lights my deck and my gauges that I have will turn off and turn right back on... I have no clue what it could be I know my tires rub on the inside but jus like any lowered car... Been realizing this lately and was wonderining if anyone knew what it was... Thanks

If you're lowered and know you're rubbing, I'd check the wire harness in the wheel well. Most people relocate that up thru the fender. Just a thought, worth a shot.

Thanks for your input I'll have to check around for the harness tomorrow that might be it! It's weird cuz sometimes I'll be maybe 1/2 wheel turned and it will do it an others I'll be fully cranked and nothing...lol

im almost 99% sure its the harness. i lowered my car and forgot about it and on the ride home had some issues ooooooh boy. just take the fender off and get you some zipties and youll be all set. also if the wires have been eaten through youll need to repair/ replace them. keep electrical tape on you.... youll need it

Thank you! That sounds like the problem... So would I need to remove my fender as we'll? And I believe there's harness on each side right? so I would need to take off both my fenders to do this?

+1 this!
I'm sure this is the issue. Take that fender off and take a look.

Look first to see if that it is your issue. If you see wires rubbed out and bare, then you're gonna have to take your fenders off to relocate them higher up.

your gonna have to take your fender wells off to check. iirc the harness goes from your fuse box down the left outside engine bay and then on the front of the radiator core support. there is a wiring harness on the right side but it goes from the front of your motor over the top and into the wiring harness inside the engine bay. not likely to get rubber out.

been awhile since i pulled my wiring harnesses lol
