Hello all,

I have a 1993 S13 240sx and my power steering rack is leaking pretty bad. I am thinking of getting a new one and I read that the S14 steering rack will fit with the S14 bushings on my S13. The question I have is, can I use both the S14 inner tie rods and S14 tie rod ends on my S13 without issues?

I read that I can run a the S13 inner and outer tie rods on the S14 rack but the rack I am getting will have new pre installed S14 inner tie rods so I would like to keep those (I also read the S14 setup is beefier). Will that cause any problems? If it is longer than the S13 setup, will it not work?

I tried searching but couldn't get a definitive answer. I saw a guy say that he had to cut down the S14 inner tie rods to fit on a S13 and I've seen other people say that it works fine.

Any help is appreciated!

Should be fine...S14 tie rods are upgrade over the skinnier S13 ones.
