Stock s13 exuast diffrence?

Im doing research on stock exhuast because...i pretty much dont want any kind of exhuast louder then the stocks =]

And i notice that SOME 240sx (89-94) have a single tip and some having a dual tip. Is there any diffrence in the two exhuasts?

Since im on the same subject...

Has anyone ever heard or used the "Pacesetter/Monza" exhaust system?

I like the look of it because it almost looks stock with a sporty look. And was wondering how they sound.

Thanks

any aftermarket typical exhaust is goign to make your car louder. if you want to waste money to keep the quietness, go custom. have them keep the stock 2.25 or 2 inch piping diameter, but take out the bends (straighter piping), put in a new resonator, and keep your stock muffler. you might make like .2 hp gain, but then again tahts what you would gain with the quietness.

Any S13 exhaust will fit any S13.

The best aftermarket exhaust for noise suppression I've found is the RS*R ExMag, or go custom.

even the RSR is kinda louder than what i expected.

Honda guys buy this certain brand of muffler. Its called a twin loop. I forget who makes it but its really quiet and kind of gives off a VQ sound if the rest of ur exhaust is unresonated or have fairly large piping.

ALL 89-98 stock exhausts are dual tip. Some people may have welded a muffler or different tip on an OE setup but from the manafacturer they all had the dual tip design.

First off I use to own a MONZA exhaust. The one in the pic is not for the 240sx. The one for the 240 comes with dual tips and no resonator which is going to make it loud as hell.
I would recomend an RS-R exmag or a BRM exhaust system.

That's the best you're going to get with a 3".

It's the Mugen Twin Loop. Very expensive though. The S12 muffler had a similar design.

I seen the twinloop design b4..looks crazy.

Im thinking of going 2.5 pipes, rember this is going to be a NA car not a turbo so things sound diffrent with turbos.
