I picked a 240sx here because I had no other choice..I spent 30k on an S14 build, instead of buying a sick ass rusty dick looking cressida...for just 2k and call it a day huh?

cressida's are starting to become a "fad"
but 240's are probably the biggest "fad" out there right now
cressida's just don't have the ridiculous drift tax like 240's

i can see why people don't like them but i love them

There used to be a silveish blue 85 Cressida that ran around chicago when i hung out there with a 2JZGTE 61mm racegas built trans and 100shot of nitrous. that car pissed so many people off at the street races and made some big money.

always thought it would be cool to build one as a fast daily driver that would still get down.then common sense comes into play that if i wanted to spend 10K on a daily driver i could get a M45 or a LS400

regardless of who says what these four doors cars are awesome...just bcuz they arent the PRETTIEST of cars to look at doesnt mean they cant do well...a lot of ppl put them down bcuz of there size and whatnot..i think its redonkulous...honda's are ugly but i bet most of the ppl here have either had on or currently have one...and they themselves make fun of the car still..just like a 240 isnt for everyone, neither is the cressida..ive had 4 240's and hope to someday be able to own a cressida aswell...yes i will convert it to 5 speed 7m and then yes i will swap in a 1 or 2jz just like most of everyone here ( myself included) has swapped sr20's in our 240s and whatnot...

I know a lot of the guys that posted in this thread have/had some pretty dope cars. And they obviously have taste and style, they just dont like the x chassis' that we were given here in the states. and i can totally agree that usdm x8s are butt fucking ugly, along with x6's. i have an x7 and ive been into cressidas for yeeears. shiit when you look at a bone stock x7 its ugly as shit. but when put in the right hands you can turn nothing into something.

what is the deal with affiliating cressidas with drifting? yeah in japan they slide their jzx81s,90s,100s,110s,etc. when i first bought my cressida i had no intention of drifting it. i dont see why all of these fan boys see cressidas as just a 4 door drift platform. for christ sakes its an old school luxury car. fucking keep it that way.

first pic is my car and the other 2 are really good friends of mine. we are all Handsome Garage members, and there are 3-4 other Cressidas in our group which aren't pictured.
