i picked up a z31 a few weeks ago, the tail lights wont come on when you switch the lights on, the brake lights work. checked all the fuses, all good. i was planning on wiring them separate to a different switch eventually. im not quit sure if that would mess with the brake lights or not. any help/ tip would be much appreciated

there's a relay near the rear of the car that controls these, it fails often. they are colour coded so you'll know which one to get. search on z31performance.com to get a more thorough answer!
