I have to agree, to an extent cars do look better with true to era mods I have a profec E-01 for example, looks outdated to fuck compared to modern stuff but wierdly feels right in a 94 silvia. (if anyone as a remote holder for an e-01 inbox me please |

Every few years you see people start looking back and building cars like 199_ or 200_ again. Then it goes back to current day trends. I like the cycle; keeps things interesting.
Sorry I don't have any input on older electronics. Definitely get a sweet tape deck. |

i love this idea keep us posted my hatch is kind of period correct i built most of it in 2005 so all the parts are things that were big around then red top sr, dc sport header, tein suspension, sparco seats, momo steering wheel and the ever so pain in the ass 3 gauges down the A pillar so u get blinded at night trying to drive around a corner.

Not sure on the dates, but they must have been made specifically for the US market since they are in imperial units instead of metric. I would guess they were manufactured in the early-mid 90's. So, they probably weren't that old when your buddy bought them. It's purely speculation on my part though. Matej, thanks for the vid. That thing is bookmarked now

If you really want it 90's style I would start with:
Canister exhaust (I think you can still get Fujitsubo Legalis-R exhausts new, $$$$ though) Cusco Type-ST Strut Bar (or any bar that screws in the middle) Omori Gauges (the look hasn't changed much over the years so these would be the easiest to find to look period correct) HKS EVC3 Recaro SR with the gradient or "splotchy" fabric in the middle Tomei short shifter Sheepdog BOV Nismo 330 steering wheel with the old school nismo horn button Thats off the top of my head. The engine and especially suspension tuning I would not want to go back 90's style. Non adjustable coilover with non adjustable lower bracket, no thank you. If you want to go that far though, Nismo N1/Tokico HTS/KYB Buzz Spec shocks with KG/MM springs. Oh yeahhhhh |

That and his erratic-ass driving and continuous nervous glances to his right in order to avoid light traffic and that menacing concrete barrier.

Two things on the list one being that profec a and an Omari boost gauge. I've always loved the old alpine hu's. This build will be slow and coming because most of the stuff will be hard to source.

Seems like the drivers only doing 60-90mph, yet the sweat's dribbling down his forehead like the niagara falls. Otherwise it's still a nice video, taste of the oldies.

You are gonna hate your wheel selection and fitment.
you get MoMo Arrows, or, VX1/Venoms Your door speakers should be Bose, But you need to have an 18" or a pair of 12"'s in the trunk. Rockford Fosgate would be the brand as well. Dont forget your NEUSPEED sticker HKS exhaust painted brake calipers. Fog lights. The purple tinted ones just were getting big at that time. PIAA's BTW. Also, white cars. Its gonna be great, lol |

So we arent doing period correct to what was on the streets stateside?
Cause if you are just gonna build with the best of what came out back then and is finally in your price range, thats a different build altogether. |

semi-relevant: i want a first gen Apexi RSM and a Multi Checker. they'd be pointless clutter at this point, but old back to the future delorean looking shit is cool.
with these and my D1 SAFC2 i could have four tachs. RAD

^ I was in possession of both of those at one point, but just couldn't figure out a way to making them look good in my interior!
Now I think about it, I never got round to fitting any of the parts in this pic
