[Help] Fuel Cut (?) Under Load (at Higher RPMS)

So I've searched everywhere and tried a bunch of things. Here is the problem: my car doesn't past about 5-6k RPMS when under full load (~11lbs). My acceleration just cuts off, the boost blows off and I decelerate. The Wideband just shows three horizontal bars like it normally does when I'm stopped. Now in contrast if I don't fully depress throttle and stay close no boost on the gauge I can go to my actual limiter. have an S15 SR with walbro and 1000cc injectors (according tot the last owner). Also an AEM EMS as well.

So far I've:
-Regapped my plugs (0.032)
-Checked coil packs
-Changed Intake manifold gasket
-Changed Fuel Filter
-Checked cooling and changed thermostat
Any recommendations?

1000cc's and an EMS sounds like there is a lot more done to the car than that.
MAF or MAP+IAT?

The car didn't have a MAF when I got it. Hence it has the latter.
On a side note: The last owner wasn't very informative and seemed a little misguided as he only had it for a year so I've been fixing and cleaning up everything. It's been really annoying figuring out what he has, but I have the list of all mods from the original owner (that may or may not still be there).

Here is the original part list (Most of it is still there):

Motor
S15 SR20 longblock w/ all accessories in working order
AEM EMS Series 2 (car is running on E85) [Running Gas Now]
Garrett GT2860

Tomei Rocker stoppers

dual electric fans [No longer there]
adjustable fan controller [No longer there]

tial 38mm external wastegate
ISIS Blast PIPES exhaust
Aeromotive FPR
stainless steel coolant reservoir
FMIC
Hallman pro MBC
Tial 50mm BOV
AEM wideband

Trans:
functional 5 speed s14 transmission with no grinds
B&M shifter
Nismo weighted shift knob
ACT 4 puck clutch [Stage 3 Now?]

Wait, so it was tuned on E85 and you're running pump though it now? Go take it to a reputable shop and have them inspect the tune and the car overall.

Well the 1st owner (I'm the 3rd) had it on e85. The 2nd owner never said anything about e85 so I assume he had it gas tuned, but I'll take your advice and go to shop. I need to find somewhere in Ft. lauderdale now. I've heard of Jackson performance but everyone says he's a dick and overcharges.

Do you have a laptop handy to plug into the EMS and look around?

Have you checked the part numbers on the injectors and turbo to make sure they are what you think they are?

It will be easier to log whats going on while the issue is occurring with the EMS.

I'll check to make sure of the parts in an hour.
I've never done that (mainly because I don't have a laptop), I'll take a look later. Do I just start the car with the usb from the EMS to the laptop running AEMnet (or whatever the program is)?

Also thanks for all the help you've given me in the past few days.

That's some what far, but I'll drop in if I go to Disney or go visit UCF. I'll see what I can find in the area.

I need to bump this again. I got the tune and it didn't fix it. I'll be trying new injectors this week and getting it retuned (for free). The tuner said he wasn't seeing what was causing it on the computer, so we think it could be electrical.

Further information:
1st gear at WOT cuts out later (~6500) than other gears
I can cause it to cut by being on less throttle leaving me with no boost.

Have a similar problem with mine. S13 SR. Haven't messed with the car in a year but was leaning towards failing fuel pump (255L/hr walbro) or fuel pump wiring.

Mine would run hard to redline 7500rpm 1st-3rd...4th/5th falls flat at 6k full throttle. Partial throttle in 4th will take it past 6k

(have my dual fans running off relays. Control side getting power of fuel pump wire) gonna switch power supply later though

Post up if you figure it out before I do

Usually, when it goes with partial throttle, it means fuel system problem.

The most common one is the fuel pump, followed by the fuel pump wiring being too thin, the fuel pump pickup being clogged ... or the fuel filter being clogged, which is quite usual with e85. You can start there, it is cheap.

Sounds like a fuel supply issue to me as well. Sounds like a surge tank setup would be a good route to take.

No, I ending up blowing my turbo seal so I had to replace that and my AEM EMS is being sent back to AEM because my tuner thinks that's the problem.

So I got the EMS back from AEM. It had corrosion/water damage that is now fixed. I know I have a new problem that I'm posting in the small questions thread: http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?p=5850188
