I work at a dealership as a Service Advisor.
During the week I pretty much wear a button up/polo and some slacks. Color doesnt matter. We're only open on the weekends for Saturday and its shorter hours. So long as its presentable clothes and not something id wear sleeping its fine. Like I'd usually wear a polo v neck and some shorts and nice shoes Im good.

Software dev. We wear whatever we want most of the time but everyone here always has a set of nicer clothes tucked away in case clients come in. If someone important is coming in one of the managers sends out a mass text and we all line up to use the bathroom stallls to change LOL.

No:
sleeveless shirts, t-shirts with offensive logos, flip flops, pajamas or exposed underclothes... Yes: Anything except the above... I am in shorts and t-shirts every day, and in the winter I still wear shorts and have on a long-sleeve tee under the short one. every. damned. day I work a helpdesk for a medical laboratory, no one EVER sees us in person and the visitors from corporate around the corner are usually dressed just like the rest of us when they DO come to visit.

If I'm meeting with clients or if I'm on work travel, I usually wear a suit.
For a normal day in the office, it's business casual. I generally refuse to wear khakis unless it's Friday just because I don't like to schlep, so for me, biz-casual means: -Tailored trousers (custom, moods of norway, canali) -Dress shirt (custom, gitman, tyrwhitt, ervell, BB ESF, etc) -Shoes (lace ups only, usually Allen Edmonds) Casual fridays are generally slim khakis (any number of colors), my Bean Signature moc boots, and a casual shirt. Sort of upscale lumberjacky. Going to have some more suits made this winter though, and I think I'll start putting suits in my normal weekly rotation. No one here does it, but I still want to.

I'm an engineer at a small manufacturer. Jeans and a polo or other collared shirt every day. Safety glasses when I go out in the shop.
I used to work for a larger manufacturer with a stricter dress code. Had to wear slacks every day except Fridays when we could wear jeans. Usually wore a polo or other collared shirt. When I started, I wore a tie the first few days, but every time I went out to the manufacturing floor, I had to tuck the tie in, so I decided to stop. Also had to wear steel-toed shoes out on the floor.

Data Analyst for school of medicine/hospital.
Currently business casual, so dress pants and long sleeve button up for me, usually Friday will be just a polo instead of button shirt. Was actually at the hospital a few months ago, had to be a tie everyday then, sucked.

I work at a aftermarket body parts company as the outside sales rep. I have to wear atleast a polo shirt but pants dont really matter so jeans or khakis basically. I gotta visit body and mechanical shops everyday so nice close would be a waste. It's not bad til I gotta freeze my ass of during the winter visiting shops.

I work for UPS. I used to be a driver and had the brown uniform, but luckily my manager was cool and I didnt wear the brown socks (sorry upsdude haha). Unfortunately, I was low on seniority and got kicked back to the building when the economy fell out so now I just wear dickies/gym shorts, t shirt, and DC's. I pretty much have a cake job now haha
I also work for Publix warehouse in the Dairy/Frozen warehouse so I wear warm up pants and a sweatshirt in dairy, and a Freezer suit in frozen(it gets down to -30 degress) I even have pics of my mustache and eyebrows with ice hanging off them |

I wear a variety of different outfits to work usually just slacks with some cool GBX slip on dress shoes along with a company branded polo. Sometimes i'll go all out when i get some the night before and wear a solid button up with a nice sleek tie. Aslong as its a professional look then its up to me what the outfit is. Im an independent contractor for at&t.
