I replaced my master and slave cylinder, bleed the system and replaced the clutch pedal return spring but it continues to have the problem. The clutch pedal returns almost all the way to the top but with a half inch of play that has to be puled up. What could it be. I'm sure i bleed everything right and there is no air in the system. Could there be a problem with the line not returning enough pressure back to the pedal? Any idea what the problem is?

I've had this happen to me on two separate S13s that I've owned.
You have to remove the stock bleeder/damper box. It's on the passenger side frame rail. The clutch line from the master runs to it, and then the slave runs from it. Just pull that off and run the hard lines into each other, then readjust the pedal.

I had a similar problem, I had replaced my clutch, new master/slave, SS clutch line, and even replaced the clutch pedal itself. However, my clutch pedal would not return all the way up, and would even sink while I was driving; turns out the master i bought was defective.

Thanks but i forgot to mention i have had the damper delete done already.
