MSport Type B or URAS Type IV Magic

I'm going to be ordering one of these 2 kits tomorrow. I was just looking for an opinion of which to get, I can't make my mind up. I want the msport tybe b, because it is the most functional of the 2 due to the fmic core being fully exposed and the unmatchable ability to cool my whole fmic core.

However, the URAS type IV kit with the monkey magic system is very flexible and is not prone to cracking.

BTW - just wondering if anyone here has any experience with either of these real kits with a greddy FMIC (24x12x3) and did you have to cut anything to get the fmic to fit, and do they fit like a glove, like they should for 1500$ JDM kits or is the fit just as bad as a knockoff?

Thanks!

PS: what do the real kits have to signify that they are real MSPORT / URAS? and does anyone have a picture of these markings?

i have a real Uras kit. fit great, but still needed to be sanded down a bit around headlight area for my s15 headlights. but other than that, it fit excellent. i bought V:S rear fenders since i couldnt afford real Msport fenders [550]. V:S stuff looked EXACTLY like my Uras kit, both the same white coating on the outside, the underside is smooth. nice and thick. if i placed the V:S next to my Uras stuff while they were in white, poeple owuld think its all the same company

exterior wise, there is no markings to tell its real or not, mayb some kits you can tell from the outside, i believe Mugen has a lil tab at the bottom to let you know. the only way to know is they have markings on the underside or backside.

also you'll know its real if nobody else makes a copy of the kit in the US/Canada. i know mine is real not only because i bought it but, nobody makes a copy of it in the US that i know of

so what would you guys recommend???

I want to go with the msport for the pure functionality since it will expose the whole core of my fmic, however 600$ is a lot to spend for just a fiberglass front bumper

what do you guys think??

To anyone that has a real msport type B kit, did you have to modify it to fit an fmic?

Im wondering why you just dont go for a VS or something? Theyre good kits. and its a bumper. Its gonna crack sometime. I say go for the Msports if like you said its more funtional if thats what youre looking for. Otherwise its all on the looks.

i would get a V:S kit, just shipping to canada is gonna be brutal, and I can get The real stuff through my best buddies shop.

well the msport type b looks to be the most functional at cooling the fmic out of any kit, heres a pic incase you dont know what it looks like.
