The other day i noticed that my fuse went out for the tail lights, so i replaced it. Then i noticed when i was applying the brakes that my brake lights, bumper lights, and dash all light up??? Im pretty sure this isnt normal, has this happend to anyone? Is it also normal for the 3rd brake light to stay on constantly? And if it matters the woman i bought it from had an ole skool pioneer deck installed and an amp.

This problem isn't in the fuse box. There's crossed wires someplace in your car - which is presumably why the fuse blew in the first place. And, it's just going to keep blowing unless you find the rip and tape it up.
However, doing so is not going to be an easy task. I guess the first place to start would be to trace the wires off the stereo and amp, seeing what they use for their constant power, and what they use for the remote turn-on lead. Past that, I dunno where to dig - but I'm near positive your problem is a wire touching one it shouldn't. |
