speaker dilemma 4x6 high watts!

So I'm looking into buying new speakers for the back of my hatch 4x6s and i want to mush about 300W through them. My problem is i cant find any good quality speakers that hold that power. I was looking at these 2. Anyone own these speakers in their car? Or anyone know of better speakers that are 4x6s ?

JBL Power P6452
* Size: 4 x 6
* Sensitivity: 89 dB
* Frequency Response: 75-23,000 Hz
* Recommended RMS Power: 50W
* Peak Power Handling: 150W
* Impedance: 4 ohms

Infinity KAPPA462.7CFP
* Size 4 x 6
* Sensitivity: 94dB
* Frequency Response: 75Hz - 25kHz
* Power Handling, RMS: 60 Watts
* Power Handling, Peak: 180 Watts
* Impedance: 2 Ohms

4x6 is not round

edit
then you posted the picture lol

why do you have aspecific power rating in mind? Are you competing in SQ comp?
You dont need half that to have an outstangind sounding stereo in an s chassis

You do not need 300W of power for rear fill. Mount some 6.5" speakers below the panel with maybe 50-60W max. It's not like you're going to create 150db sound levels anyway.

i've been looking into moving my mb quartz components to the back of my s14 and putting 4x6's up front for a more crisp stereo sound. i'm not looking for crazy or over the top, just an alpine rated at 45x4 when lightning strikes. but i'd like some input on how the 4x6 up front 6.5" rear would sound? thanks guys

I would think that the 6.5" would be better up front. Are they both, components, same brand and series? You made a good choice with the Alpine headunit. Components work best with a seperate amp. If you are powering straight from the headunit, a coaxial would work best- this way you're using the speakers to their maximum capacity. This is a good forum for car audio stuff:

Well I don't want it on the side because i have a cargo cover. and im accualy want to keep it at the 90db range.

Its for the rear, i want high power because i have an amp for it already. I'm running 400w boxed 6x9s in the rear 300w 5 1/4 in the front with 2 tweeters and 2 10s in the rear pushing 1700w. I just want to take out my 6x9s and replace them with 4x6s so i can see out of the rear of my car better. And so it looks factory.

doode..fuk 4x6's...regardless of what 4x6's you get..they suck...i have a 91 hatch and i currently run 6.5 in the front and 6x9 in the rear with speaker amp..and it sounds pretty good..so theres a setup idea for you.

I already have amplified 6x9s. Maybe can some people post pictures of where they mounted the 6x9s? Mine are just siting on top of my cargo cover in boxes.

+1 for Inifiniti, but you don't need to hit the Kappa, go with the Reference line, thats plenty.
