cody i have a question, would the exhaust housing with the 44mm external wastegate (.72ar) also be a viable option if one didnt want to modify the exhaust mani?

EDIT: nevermind, looking at it the wastegate flange is on the wrong side of the turbo.
EDIT2: nevermind, im dumb, it would work, just wondering if its viable.

So,with what boost I'd like to run (18psi+/-)setup:
2871 .64 ,256 Poncams, Apex'i HG,BC valvetrain,Tomei FPR, Z32 maf
Enthalpy Tune (once I decide inj size)

What Size Injectors should I run - 740cc?
will 555's be safe or to close to Full duty???

I'd love about 350+/-whp,...possible with this setup?

You can do 350hp with 555cc injectors. Don't let anyone tell you different. It's all in the tune. but why pigeon hole yourself? You'll be worrying about over boosting and anything related to bad fuel quality. I know I did. Knowing the weakest link was my injectors. I opted for the sard 850's. So get the 740 injectors, They seem to be the go to injectors anyway. That would also stop the massive flaming I'll get for saying 555cc's are good for 350hp

You'll most likely be using that retune service Enthalpy Offer's, so have a way to datalog those AFR!

Does SARD make a 740cc inj? I see nismo and HKS does but I'm not feeling spending $700 on them.

you know the cheapest I've found the HKS injectors are $550 on amazon for all 4 of them you just got to search a little

It is doable sir and can be done... I have run 340whp/357lbft @ 1.3bar on 550cc jecs injectors with some concious and reliable advice to 'bandaid' and run additional fuel pressure.

Suddenly 550cc turned into 630cc which made all the difference and even at 550cc never had a hit of knock.

hey guys i have finally finished my setup and got it running well and was wondering if anyone can give me a ball park to what my whp would be. Also where would be a good place to get it tuned in California once im ready to get some dyno time to fine tune it. My goal is 350-400whp

Setup: (91 oct)
forged pistons(i believe super tech)
metal head gasket
BC Stage 2 cams(264/264)
GT2871r .86
Greddy Manifold
740cc Denso
Z32 MAF
EFI specialist tune
3" exhaust
Isis Screamer Dump(wondering if this is why my turbo isnt AS responsive as other setups)

Those are some nice welds. Don't you think you should have opened it up to both runners all the way. Since youhave that crack and the little hole any how. Looks nice though. I am sure it will still bebetter then stock

The screamer pipe does NOT do anything to the responsiveness. Also I think its better to run the mafs blow thru. The BC Cam is kind of a bottle neck, besides that i think you should be in the 370+ range on 91oct full tilt.

What do you mean by bottle neck do think I should go back to stock for now? And BTW I am running 18pounds or 10 if I'm just Cruising?

I'd probably make a decision on that hole and crack before install. That chunk could potentially kill your turbo. Not everyone's build plans include a cyanide pill!

SUpposedly the crack is normal... I am kinda thinking about dremeling it out though...probably the extrude hone material took alot of material away also.

Greddy manifold will slow down spool time slightly. .86 hotside on that turbo will slow down spool. 264 cams will raise your powerband slightly. That's probably why you've lost a little response.

Get the n15 throttle 70mm body it will compensate for some of the lag

Well, there are better cams out there that will net you more power. I've also herd of bad BC cams that dont put out much power and need cam gears.

From what I see, sometimes people get a good pair and some get awful ones. Sometimes they need to be degree'd, your's seem to have came out good.
according to the guys at enthalpy when i talked to them, it was only the 272's that had a bunch of batches that were cut wrong and needed cam gears to degree them correctly

Sup guys,

I was thinking of getting a stock manifold and the extrude-hone process but I cant find someone using this process around here...

has anyone tried porting the stock manifold? or any suggestions?

Well, I got my newly tested Nismo 740cc injectors, Isis Z32 MAF, and freshly tuned JWT ECU installed, and it fired up the first time, but rough, real rough. Checked the wideband...maxed out at 10.0 on idle, and under light load.

Ran it around for a little bit, figuring it was just from fuel falling in the cylinders when I replaced the injectors. It got a bit better, but never cleared up.

So I checked the ground on the MAF, and cleaned it up better, that made little to no difference. Then I completely disconnected the body ground on the maf, and hte car seemed to idle fine...13.7-15.0 at idle, and light throttle. Which is weird, because it didnt do that at all until the ground was disconnected. :/ Then @7psi it would hang around 13.5ish which isnt terrible, but much leaner than I wanted to see. But I remember reading that it would run a bit lean under light boost like that. So I increased boost to 15psi, and it would read around 15AFR....not good. So I only did that once, and didnt try it again. Got back home, and tried grounding the MAF again while still running, it immediately got really rough, and went back to 10.0. FML.

Anyone have any help?

I can only assume so, I sent JWT the specs, and my factory ECU. The invoice says 740's and Z32, so I can only imagine that it was done correctly. :/

How does the WG work when the engine torques? I have motor mounts and I tell you at 350+ HP, the engine torques no matter what...

Is there room to compensate for that?
