oh yeah, i forgot about the altima. so that makes 3 big ass powerful v6's that it needs to overcome. as for the 2.3l turbo from the speed3 and 6, i mean, i highly doubt that a 30 year old mother of 2 would care for a turbo 4-banger. the 6 has a great chassis (like all mazda's) but it definately needs a boost from the 200hp ford engine it has now. i wouldn't buy it, but to be competitive in this ultra competitive sector, you've gotta do it because everyone else is.

It would look better if there weren't already so many other cars like it. I mean, if that was the first car I saw after being in a coma for the past 5 years, I'd think, "wow, what a great looking car," but right now the styling doesn't do anything for me anymore.

the silver one is a hatch. they offered one on the previous generation too.

i like it. if i was in the market for a fwd sedan it would be pretty high up there. i think a non mazdaspeed6 version of the turbo direct injection engine (like in the CX7) and fwd would be a cool combo. probably better mileage than a similarly powered v6. it doesn't drive like a turbo 4.
