I swear going 180 front was the dumbest thing I'd ever done simply because I'm missing all these fancy brackets and shit lol.

Dope colour btw, looks like a darker version of Joe Ayala's car.

So after finally moving house, I’ve dived back into getting this thing done!



Damn, it could do with a clean.



So this is how it sits at the moment. All ready to be plumbed and wired up.



So today I installed my Tomei Fuel Pressure Regulator, and plumbed it up, bar the connection to the fuel rail, as I haven’t ordered any hoses or fittings yet. Looks ok there, not super happy with it, but it’ll do for now at least.



I also flared the ends of my new brake hardlines, and hooked them up to my braided lines to the calipers. All that’s left to do on this side of things is to make up a mount for the lines, so they’re not floating around like they are at the moment.

Oh and the reason the suspension is all dirty, is because it’ll all be coming out to extend the lower control arms, and modify the knuckles.

I've also installed a washer system, due to gay WOF rules, but instead of drilling holes in my bonnet, I decided to do this





Next up is to mount my GREX filter block, and start plumbing everything up. I've also got some new, straighter caster arm brackets to chop up and brace too.

So finally put my bonnet back on the car yesterday, so decided to snap some pics.



It almost looks like a car again! But man is it filthy!



There's all sorts of shit on the paint after lying around for almost two years, so the whole car will be getting cut and polished once it's all up and running, and a few holes get filled and smoothed.

Now I'm waiting on my Summit Racing order to get the power steering system all ready to rock, then off to get Adam to do some bracing next weekend, then i'll take it straight to Sinco for the turbo setup to go on.

And here's Sam sleeping again!

So at the moment Adam from C's Garage is fabbing me up one of these



Then these showed up on Yahoo Japan....





They won't be here for a few months as they'll be coming in a container, with a few other bits and pieces. So by then the car should be running!

Picked the car up from the fabricators today.





Really happy with the result. Will put everything back together over the next few days and pull it out into the driveway for some proper photo's.

Then I just need to wire it, and put an oil cooler in, then it'll be ready to fire up!

Hot Pipe is 2.5", Cold is 2.75" to match with the throttle body. Thanks man!

Yeah, just stumbled across them while browsing Yahoo one day at work.

Sizes are 17x9 +22, 17x10 +32, so with my 555 Extended LCA's in the front, and a spacer in the rear, these should sit perfect!

Been banging the car back together as fast as possible over the last few days. In amongst work and life in general.

So here's an image dump.



This is the engine bay basically done, bar a catch can, and mounting my oil filter block. Oh and running all the wiring, but that should be nice and hidden by the time it's all done.



Piping is super shiny in person, so excuse my shit photography.



Sinco manifold looks beefy as hell!



Here you can kind of see the radiator overflow in the bottom left, tucked away nicely, power steer reservoir in the top left, and also a peek at the low mounted power steer pump, and AN plumbing I've made up for it.



The exhaust is typical 2.5" twin outlets sticking a few inches out from the bumper, the system resonators and a flexi under the car, and all sits above the chassis rail, bar the flexi, which is already showing signs of wear just from going into my garage haha.



Super happy now it looks like a car again!



Excuse the terrible photo, and the fading paint on the bumper. Oh and the black lip. These will both be getting fixed soon. But it finally looks like a complete car!

Hahaha. Thanks mate.

There are still a lot of changes I'd like to make to the car before I'll be ultimately happy with it. But for now I'm purely focusing on getting it running, tuned and legal for NZ roads before summer's over.

Slowly over the next few months I'll get it all finished and ready to strap to the dyno.

Then over next winter do the next round of modifications to it. Nothing too crazy, just a few more parts/braces, maybe add some Poncams or something, a sliding rail for the passengers seat might be nice, so I can actually see around the passenger, paint the rear interior etc.

Haha thanks dudes.

This thing hasn't actually been touched since my last post. Wiring will start as soon as I buy an ECU, and then it can finally run!

The turbo is a 2871R 0.64A/R, T2 flanged, bolt on style.
