The frame rails under the body of my s13 are crushed. It is my understanding that since it a unibody car, the frame rails act as more of an exoskeleton. If they are crushed, and I get in an accident, will the car crumple easier, or will it be the same as when they weren't crushed? Also, I have read that you can get replacement frame rails, but all I have seen were ones towards the front of the car, not in the middle. Does anyone make replacement rails?

HOLY SHIT! What happend to your car?

If you are really conserned about it, weld in some steal where they used to be.

OEM frame rails are available from any nissan dealership
