S14 Zenki Mine's Ecu
Hello.
I bought a used MINE'S ECU, model 6187 for NISSAN S14 SILVIA from 1994 (ZENKI model, European). Is it possible to know the specifications of this ecu? what kind of tuning does it fit? okay for muffler (without catalyst), intercooler, stage 1 HKS cams, suction filter and pop off? Thank you |

I sent emails to Mine's, Mine's-Wave and to all the distributors in the world.
No answer from anyone ... it would take someone who already has this model and find the original packaging |

You will probably never know. Mines used to ask for the code on the ecu and could look it up. They may not have the database anymore. Is it a VX-ROM or just a chip tune?

Speed limiter, rev limiter, boost cut control, and timing are definable when ordering. The rest are the off the shelf tune.
The only thing I would worry about is the injector size is adjustable and it may have been trimmed for larger injectors. These are all concerns with buying a used tuned ecu. Unless you have the tune in writing from the tuner you are at the sellers mercy. That data could be 3rd party or the seller's recollection could be wrong. I would not get involved unless you have access to a dyno and at least a wideband sensor. There is a chance you will have to get it retuned. Since you have a VX-ROM there should be a tune code on the unit. If not you will have to send it back to them. At that point you may as well have them retune it to your spec. http://www.mines-wave.com/E_09/Inquiry_E.html

Finally I received an answer from the Mine's.
I have provided photos with details of all the codes printed on the control unit. Quote:
