Yep its a Trust sump extension.
http://www.rhdjapan.com/trust-greddy...t-skyline.html

I bought one already done for about $300. Not rare.

The scene here is sad. only a small handful of nice/modded cars

Alignments here cost about $180 for the front and $300 for all 4. Car size varies though.

Got the Oil Pan bolted down

Bottom end is done.

Now that the bottom ens is done I started some port work on the head.

Got rid of the hump.

Did a mild knife edge on the intake ports. Gonna do a little more when I pull the valves.

Ordered new hardware for the Turbos. Prevailing Torque Nuts used for the manifolds, Serrated flange nuts for the elbows.

Sand blasted the heat shields and High Temp painted them.

Calipers and Piston cups painted with High Temp

Rad hoses came in from Raw Brokerage.

Axles cleaned, painted and half assembled

Finished wrapping the Engine harness, Just need to order a few new connectors.

Also upgraded the injector clips to get rid of those shitty metal retainer clip ones.

these ones are tab locking.

Giving the 26 some head.....work

Pulled the valves and cleaned up the Valves, combustion chamber and exhaust ports.

When I had bought this engine the PO said that he was having cooling issues and didnt know why.

Ever since then I was trying to figure out why it would have cooling issues.

When I pulled the head it had a Metal head gasket and wasnt till now that I noticed OEM head Gasket markings on the head side.

So it looks like the PO never had the head milled, he just cleaned it up and slapped on the MLG. So it was probably warped witch would explain the coolant issues.

Domo Guys.

Its so close >.<

yeah Valves will be lapped after the head work. Need to have the exhaust guides checked to make sure they are within spec, They felt a little loose when I was removing them.

If they are bad ill replace with some Tomei Ones. Probably wont do the intakes cuz they very snug and dont see as high of temps as the exhaust valves and cuz those damn things are expensive... Hopefully my machine shop can press in valve guides.

Up here there are no hot tanks. Yeah its due to environmental stuff, im sure only big industrial shops have them.

I got PD-680 at my work so once all the machining is done im gonna dunk it in there.

seems like my thread has lost interest. lol

But im bored so ill update it.

Not related to the GT-R but picked up some Origin DNA02 for the R32 4 Door in trade for some N1 Bumper Vents.
I think they will look good on the 4 Door....I think, Guess we will see. Should be here in a few weeks.
17x9.5 +15 IIRC

Had my 6th Fucking Coolant Hose pop.....turned out to be a Heater Core hose, Of course since its one of the last ones I hadnt changed yet. Ordered some Samco's which were on back order and had to wait 3-4 weeks to get :/

Finally go those replaced last week. Also Ordered some 3 ft section Samco XTRA Flex hoses. Has a wire coil inside so you can bend the shit out of it and it wont Kink.

Also had a buddy give me his old R34 Turbos and elbows after he upgraded his to some Tomei ARMS turbos. These will get perfect for the 4 Door.

Kinda weird but the R34's look smaller when compared to R32/33 Turbos... Its most def a R34 turbo cuz it came off my buddies R34 and have ran the PN in FAST...oh well lol

R33 Turbo on top

Also got another Turbo Hot pipe as well an a full piping kit for a GTR.

Picked up a Newer Tomei Steering wheel too to replace my old heat shrunk one.
Feels soo much nicer and just makes the dash area look soo much nicer.

As well as finally getting some Ganador Mirrors for a reasonable price. Ever since they became Discontinued they have been going for around 40,000+ Yen

I got these fairly cheap and without a fight cuz one side has two broken mounting bolts in it. Shouldnt be a problem to remove.

Now I need to decide if I wanna paint them black like the OEM mirrors or match the body paint.

Got a nice score when some idiot was trying to split a GTS-4 Trans and had no idea what he was doing. I even showed him what t do to split it and he still didnt do it...

knocked out the shifter roll pin and she came right off

Not sure if anything is fucked up since he was prying the shit out of the housings with some pry bars trying to seperate..... but would make a nice spare for a rebuild

I think that is all....

Your threads are the only reason I visit this site, so please don't stop!!!

Also, let me see if i have this straight. The engine you have on the stand is going in the R32. The engine coming out of the R32 is going in the S14 and rb25 in the s14 is going in the 4-door?

Ah I see, Ppl are still watching. Post and stuff dropped off so I thought nobody was checking this out anymore. So I shall continue to update then.

Well that was gonna be a plan, but since I have picked up a 4 Door, I will leave the RB25 in the S14 and just swap in the Old GTR engine into the 4 Door after a do a quick rebuild on it.

So it'll be a 4 Door AWD "GT-R" lol

I had to take a few minutes to get caught back up with your projects thread.
It is always nice to see what you are getting up! A nice score with the 4-Door '32
and the RB build-up is coming along nicely.

Are your cars going to the States with you whenever it is you return?
(especially your Honda truck!)

Domo

Only the GT-R and 4 Door are coming with me. Cedric is a 98 and the Kei truck; as much as I like it as a truck id be scared to death to drive that thing in the states. if I had a F150 hit me It'd be done for and not sure if i would make it.

Hopefully when I sell the Y33 and Honda it will be enough to pay for import fees for the 4 Door.

Ganadors arrived. Went right to work fixing and installing them

Had two broken bolts in the mounting holes from over tightening the bolts

After 10 mins I had them out and began sanding them down.

Need to get them professionally painted later

Oh, I see, Boss.
Well, I guess you'll have to enjoy the most out of your fleet before that day comes.

Ganador Mirrors looking nice on the GT-R. Keep up the good work, sir =)
