lowering spirngs/coilover decision???

ok heres my dilemma.im debating which to go with.lowering springs or coilovers.yes yes I know everyone is going to say coilovers.i will not be at any tracks for the most part.parking lots middle of nowhere areas more likely.for drift related activites anyways.but mostly id like it for handling.money is of course a issue as always.i already have a set of damper adjustle jdm shocks for the car.i don't believe they lower it much tho.i am leaning toward eibach sportline springs to put on them.does anyone here use lowering springs instead of coilovers and what are your thoughts?or is that a foolish choice?seems everyone runs coilovers......

You can pop for basic KYB's and springs.
but if you find yourself looking at a $500 price tag; just wait. some one is always selling a used set of coilovers for the same price on Craig's List.
