5-speed swap question (wiring info)

searched already,

So i'm swaping my 2JZ-GTE + R154 trans instead of the ka... mechanicals are A-OK,

Now Wiring :

i've jumped the 1st connector and i still can't take my key out (when the auto tans is in N).

reverse light : 3rd connector down right?...been looking in the FSM and i can't match the colors with HOW-TO threads,

Now do i need the remaining 2 connectors? or i can trash'em ?

a how to thread said i need to ground the 1st connector ? i've jumped it already or i need to jump THEN gound?

Problem 1:

Open up the cover on the steering wheel and remove the 'key interlock cable':


Problem 2:

Wire up the reverse sensor, the rest are not really important unless your worried about a CEL or something.

Reverse light is on the plug second to last get the black and the green wire and run them
to the reverse light sensor!

Now On 95 S14 which connector is the ''inhibitor'' switch? 1st or 2ND?, I've already jumped the 1st one....?

some write-ups say the 2nd? care to help ?

All you need to do is jump the first one on the top:



wire in the reverse sensor, and your done.
