I used to ride. Gave up for years due to grown up stuff. I picked up another bike over the weekend. Now I just gotta buy some shovels and get to work!

^ True shit right there. There's a massive wooded area directly across the street from my house. I just need to figure out if it's privately owned or county owned so I can build on it.

This just in: Apparently, if you don't log into BMX-Forum for a certain length of time, they delete your profile. ha

What's the best site to order parts from nowadays? I used to use nothing but Dan's Comp catalogs, but that was way back in high school.

That stuff doesn't really matter either. Mid range completes are now better than 95% of what you could even buy back in the day if you customized your entire bike.

Dan's is an hour or two away from me so my stuff comes quick. Empire is a rad group of people so I buy from there occasionally.

Empire BMX is the shit! I order from them and Albe's...I don't order much from Dans' unless it's a sale item (clothes or something small).

I know that, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna buy a new bike for my casual trail adventures, and I'd like to avoid spending more than 100 bucks or so on the old-ish (late 90s, early 2000s) Diamondback that I bought for 10 bucks. haha
New grips, better seat, a new freewheel (or repack the old one, as it slips), knobby tires (currently has street tires, ew) and tire liners are really all I need. But all the fancy new shit sure is tempting.
