I used to ride. Gave up for years due to grown up stuff. I picked up another bike over the weekend. Now I just gotta buy some shovels and get to work!

^ True shit right there. There's a massive wooded area directly across the street from my house. I just need to figure out if it's privately owned or county owned so I can build on it.
This just in: Apparently, if you don't log into BMX-Forum for a certain length of time, they delete your profile. ha |

I spent 5 minutes on The Come Up, and that's all it took for me to decide that I need to avoid BMX forums like the fucking plague, otherwise I'm gonna wind up feeling that my bike is thoroughly inadequate for anything and needs to have a ton of money dropped on it. All this newfangled small sprocket and weird gearing shit is fucking with my brain. haha
What's the best site to order parts from nowadays? I used to use nothing but Dan's Comp catalogs, but that was way back in high school. |

Werd. I've been digging twice a week for a while hoping to have stuff popping off before long. Quote:
That stuff doesn't really matter either. Mid range completes are now better than 95% of what you could even buy back in the day if you customized your entire bike. Dan's is an hour or two away from me so my stuff comes quick. Empire is a rad group of people so I buy from there occasionally.

Empire BMX is the shit! I order from them and Albe's...I don't order much from Dans' unless it's a sale item (clothes or something small). |

New grips, better seat, a new freewheel (or repack the old one, as it slips), knobby tires (currently has street tires, ew) and tire liners are really all I need. But all the fancy new shit sure is tempting. |
