Ok the rear calipers pistons on my 96 240sx arent going in using 2 people i cant get them to go in i know i turn them clockwise and they go in but the mother fffers wont move very much i can turn them but it takes so much force im prolly gonna hurt myself before i get them done anyone have any ideas???? My car has been down way too long cause of a brake job im doin rotors too but doesnt do much good if i cant get the piston in far enough that i can put brake pads in

open up the bleeder screw to relieve hydraulic pressure

if its still hard as shit to screw in it's probably seized

Yea even with opening the bleeder there hard as fuck sweet two seized thats gonna be expensive

try using something like pb blaster. its suppose to help unsieze shit like that..thats what i did and it got easy enough to turn in...its still a pain in the ass no matter what tho haha

If they're remotely hard to turn they're seized. Nearly all rear S chassis calipers do it at some point, it's a shitty design. Rebuild or replace.

If I remember correctly, S14's have a turn and press style rear caliper design whereas the S13's use a push in style. Theres a tool you can buy that has two pegs that go into the notches on the pistons. Turn clockwise while pushing. Its been over a year since I've done rear brakes on my S14. You can get the tool from any auto parts store.

Both calipers turn and press in, they're the same.

yeah just open the bleeder valve and should relieve pressure. Don't forget to open up the cap on your brake master cylinder!

Both as in front and rear? Mine aren't like that, the fronts a press style and the rears a turn/press style.
