you can get a title for the coupe, does it have rust? I would invest some time/cash into it. would pay off 10 fold.

Well this just happend, picked up a built lm7 5.3l with an ms3 cam, lifters, valves, springs, push rods, ls1 intake (I've already got an ls6 intake), arp hardware, and a holley fuel rail. It's never been ran on the after market parts so they're all still new.
Things are getting a little more exciting (and expensive) than previously thought. I've got a t-56 to go behind it too. it's also set up for a swap already including the oil pan. |

I've decided to rebuild the tr6060 we've got in the back room of my garage instead of a t56. It was dropped during assembly and the tail shaft was broken off and I've already got a brand new tail shaft. And thats the 6060 with the 3.07 first gear and with 400tq and a 4.08 rear end and some fat tires that should make things interesting.

Got my clutch in yesterday, looks like a solid piece of equipment
Also just placed a big summit racing order (Our shop gets a slight discount from them) Flywheel, throttle body, ARP intake, TB, clutch, and*flywheel*bolts. And a lot of misc switches and relays to make the engine run. Next step, bolt the tranny to the engine and make my mounts. |

Been a little bit since i updated. Ended up swapping transmissions and now have a 2014 cts-v transmission from a pullout a customer of my fathers had, he wanted the wider ratio 2010 camaro ss tranny and i wanted the close ratio v transmission so we switched, both had 0 miles. Also properly cut out the rear stock fenders and pinch welded them higher up for more clearance. and started the front tubs. pics tomorrow and should order my headers sometime this week.
in the meantime, heres some cool pics of the car sitting on some borrowed wheels. |

I think I could hear the Mopar guys crying from my house when the saw the Challenger with Corvette wheels. Love the color and those wheels on your car.

Its kind of NY dads brain child he's been building it in his spare time for the past 8 or so years on and off. He also built a full frame under it to add rigidity. |

Headers should be here in a week, after that its engine in. Having a custom fuel tank made sometime soon. Thinking about putting my filler hole on the top of my passenger over fender using some sort of low profile boat style cap. Ill draw somthing up soon enough.
