Hey Phlip, it's a damn shame they only built 6 of those Daytonas. They look far better than the roadsters if you ask me.
I'm not sure if there is a domestic car that I absolutely love. These would have to be my favorites though. '73 wagoneer. i really like the "bubble top" GM cars of the early 60's. i actually typed that into google, and this picture popped up. it's only funny because i took it back in like '07, at the woodward dream cruise. it's a '61 Le Sabre. 16 by Dane Van, on Flickr when i think of domestics, i don't usually think of cars. i've never owned a domestic, and can really only see myself driving trucks/SUVs. like a big, badass power wagon for example. Scout used to have a CJ7 in the family. this isn't it, but an example.

They had like 12 total i think, but Carol Shelby said they didnt have enough money to ship them all back after a season in europe and left half of them over there. So he only brought like 6 back to US.

Street cars? I know race cars he left quite a few in England, but I'll have to see if I can find the interview. It was on some show on Discovery I believe.

By a Japanese owned company on a Japanese design using Japanese assemblies.
Yes, by the mid-80s the lines began to blur. DMC was an American company founded by Delorean, the father of the GTO and Trans AM, but the car was made in Ireland with a French and Swedish powertrain (no wonder it failed). |
