S14 Tail light problem

I'm having a bit of an issue with my s14 left tail light and i belive its probably harness related but just want to check with the forums to see if there is any thing i should start trying first.
So first off the harness needs to be zip tied at an angle for the tail light to even work, the light tail light will not work when the running lights or headlights are off as soon as i turn the headlights on the break light is on as if i had the break surpressed, i'm not one for wiring so i am a bit confused as too whats going on if anyone has any tips let me know.

Well if your brake lights come on when you turn parking lights on you either have a short to power, getting power to the wire you don’t want wire to initially, or you have crossed wires. Are they oem taillights or aftermarket?

If they are oem, your looking for crossed/ damaged wiring
