s13 S15 Subframe in a S13

So i was wondering if anyone has tried this

I know that you can put an S15 subframe in an S13.
So if the speed sensor is in the differential of the S15,
Couldn't you use it, and the gauge cluster for than S15 in your S13?

I know that some of the wiring would be different, but I was just wondering because I saw that thread about signal converter for the S15 gauge cluster.

I want to get a S15 subframe and differential, and think that it'd be cool to get the gauge cluster too, and eventually a different transmission, so I thought that this would still allow me to use the gauge cluster.

Thanks

S15 VSS is different. It goes to the ABS module then the ABS module puts out a different signal to the S15 Speedo. You would still need a emulator/converter.

Is there a different way of doing it? because if i put in a different transmission, would I still need some signal? Or is there a stand alone method of a speed sensor so I wouldn't need it in either the differential or the transmission?

What are the benefits of having an S15 subframe, why dont you just get a LSD on your S13 and call it a day.

An s15 subframe has better geometry than the s13.
It also allows for a wider track in the rear, which is better for handling.

Also i've heard that the S15 helical differential is better for autox and track.

Plus I eventually am going to replace the transmission with something else. There is a possibility that the speed sensor isn't going to be able to be in the transmission. I'm just trying to figure out something else so I can still use a speedometer.
