Mother of god. That car looks VERY well done. I can't say I'm a fan of BN Blister but the car pulls it off.

Damn that sounds like a beast. Really like the use of the zoose fastners for the body panels. Kinda iffy on the rear end though. Looks awkward with so much just flat space on either side of the tailights. Either way a very nice setup and Im sure it will be a blast to drive.

Is it for clearence or cooling? Looks like you could put a bump in the front part of the hood and have it back to regular by the time it got to the windshield? Dont really dig the rear overs either. I never liked the ones that stay wide and square on a rounded car. That being said, The rest looks great. Rear rims look like they should be one size bigger. But for competitive track, i would run whats best. And I imagine that thing Is a joy to drive!! Looks like the work is great, and the car was built with a purpose. Not a fan of sleepy eyes And i would rather that hood then a hole like some other cars. Is it for FD? XDC (or whatever?) love the color. car just looks like fun, cant wait to see some pics of it in motion!! congrads on a beautiful and succesful built! |

Props on putting it together with nice parts.
With that being said, I can't handle shaved body lines AND the blister. Just makes the car look fat and tall all over the place. And for the love of God, please put some quarter panel windows in it. PLEASE.

as of right now we are just going to do some shakedowns and see if we can get the car sorted and back in action. we ill try and see if we can get some fd proam in this year. and go from there.
backstory of hood was.. we had the 5.0 302 swap going in here and we went w/ an aftermarket intake manifold on it, we couldnt clear it and cut up the hood and made the cowl.. sort of just stuck. it does help w/ defogging the window on a cold morning though as i have no heat. Also id rather spend my money on tires and track times than spend money on glass or lexan.. and tires aint cheap no more... |

something about the side angles that I dont like much, but from the front and back I love it. looks like a lot of work went into it. definitely not mainstream.
Imo the car would look a lot better with different wheels.

I don't like to flame people on here.... so I won't, but I agree, less is more. A basic body kit would shine so much better than that. If you like it this comment shouldn't matter.

So comments good or bad always welcome..
I aint a panzy so i aint scared. in terms of fitment. if you look at the bn demo car. the gaps are there. Next up.. the cowl.. shaking head.. yes yes yes i know it is horrible.. so original story was we had a 5.0 302 from a stang.. issue was the intake manifold sat way to high, eventually we decided to go ls. however we had already cut the hood.. i decided the hood was an afterthought and just wanted to get the car done and drifting for this yr.. eventually i will get a cf hood.. the motor clears just find without any issues at all.. Next up the rear windows.. i am slowly saving up for lexan, the rear hatch is cheap 200 + but the side quarters are definitely a bit more expensive.. so saving up for that.. hopefully will have something before a rain event. I do have driver and passenger glass however.. just never have it up same with exhaust tip.. right now it has dual glasspacks with a turndown under the car.. i am eventually going to get a dual exhaust 3 inch all the way. Another thing.. the car is not done there is still work but.. for me.. id rather spend money on tires events and gas.. than try and please all of the internet.. YouTube - JDMotorworks Promo1.m2ts first shakedown event. now i gotta get a accusump and oil cooler so those take precedence over pretty mods.. and a little mockup video as well YouTube - Saliva - Raise up (v2) |

also side note.. i love the way the car is.. its different..
has a redneck flair (yet im asian, go figure) In terms of tires.. i was using 235 / 265 and there just isnt enough traction.. or smoke for that matter.. i am going to try and make it out to the thunder drift competition next. just need to make a few reliability mods then i should be good to go. also, the dash is wrapped in a shag.. like i said i have some wierd ass tastes. |
