Rear wiper delete.. Searched everywhere.

Where can I get a rear wiper delete. All the 'kits' I find are for hondas that have the wiper though the glass.

Heard you can use a plug from home depot?

Mine is leaking something fierce.

Thanks

Take the wiper motor, wires, and linkage out as required. Then take the car to a bodyshop and have them fill in the hole.

Also helps to say what car you are taking about!

Sorry, S13,

And ya, I know about pulling the wiper. I just cant have that hole there for long. We have been seeing a lot of wet weather lately. a LOT of water comes in around that wiper.

already found one, just cant afford it yet
I Literally just got the car, still gotta tune it up, do bushings, and fix some of the stupid shit..
need to stop leaks till then LOL..

as far as carbon fiber... does it have a latch and everything or do I have to have pins or clips to hold it down.
the car needs to be painted but I figure I'd wait till I got a hood and other carbon parts to paint since I don't really care for the boy racer look.

the only thing is that the shocks that hold the hatch up arent attached to it(i feel like it could damage it) and it just bolts into where it would normally, and you can screw in the latch as if it were a stock hatch

get a qtr size 1/8 or 1/16 in thick piece of steel. weld it on the back. throw some bondo on it and do your body work.
i did it in my build thread in my sig. just look there. issss very simple.

Kinda off topic, but still covering your main question. I'm sure you can use this to cover up the wiper hole! Cost less than $15! This was the install on my 180sx tail

As you can see, spoiler was rusting. Had to go!

Sanded the holes down to the metal

From the bottom, I put some tape so the body filler/plastic bondo would hold nicely

Let the bondo dry. Primered it

Painted it white! (notice the 3 holes i left for the spoiler)

Finished look!

I used a sink hole delete plug from lowe's. Not sure if they'll have one that fits yours. Mine was a 200sx hatch (s12). You can get them in stainless which looked fine without painting.

Do Not tape and Bondo like Migit240sx did. The slightest bump will destroy it. Hell, it might even crack and fall apart just from driving the car. If you cannot weld, or cannot find someone to weld, sand the inside surface to bare metal with 80 grit, lay fiberglass mat, (3 layers at least) with resin over the holes from the inside, then bonda over top once that dries and cures. That might hold for a couple years. Welding will last as long as the car does, so I see no reason not to weld. But if you have to do it the fast wrong way, use the fiberglass, not the tape.
