hard start after changing injectors??

i recently had to change out my injectors, so i just replaced the whole fuel rail because it is easier, but before i replaced them , the engine started after turning over 3 times tops, but sinse i replaced them, the engine runs a lot better and smoother but turns over quite a bit before it actually starts. why could this be?
its a ka if it matters
