Thread: ''I don't sleep''
Who doesn't sleep a lot here? I mean, not after clubbing or chilling out the whole night. Usually, when you have to go work or school and you stay awake the whole night doing nothing just because for you it's normal...not sleeping or sleep only for few hours...
Yes I do! |

I cant, for the life of, me fall asleep 'till around midnight, and I have to wake up around 4:30~5 AM, what sucks is that I'll be groggy till around 8~9 am. But when the weekends come I sleep for like a whole day.

I usually dont fall asleep till around 2 am or so, then I'm up around 9:30-10 am. But because of finals this week, and making the mistake of waiting till the last minute to write my script...I now have been pulling all nighters.
Thankfully I tend to write better when its late. It's quiet in the house and nobody is around to bother me. Speaking of which, I still have like 50 pages left to type before 6pm tomorrow. And my short film to still edit. Which is the reason I still have not cut together the ASB V video.

I tend not to sleep either till later in the night(on days I have to work), and get up every morning tired, but once I'm up and around I wake up quite fine. Weekends diff story. Work every other weekend so I normally see 3-4 hrs of sleep on those nights, and usually nap the afternoon away. My weekends off, I play catch up for all the missed sleep for the past 2 weeks haha.

i do the same thing, i idle time away at the end of the night until i realize i won't be able to get a full night's sleep.
i WAS having trouble staying asleep in the new house, it turns out it was the heater.... if you set the temp at 70, the thermostat lets the temp dip to like 65 before kicking on. then it goes up to like 75 before turning off. so i bought a space heater for my room and closed the vent. i sleep fine now. then we got the gas bill. it's obscene. so we bought space heaters for the other bedroom and the living room. we're close to shutting down the gas heater altogether

i usually do a little bit off both, i try to balance my self out. I start working out 11 at night and mostly in there for a few hours and come home around 1 to 1:30 am. its nice having the gym to yourself (well mostly, except a few other people). other than that its studying for class or working on the car through the night if there is something to do to it, or just watching t.v. because i like watching others have fun, wishing i could be doing some stuff i watch. I like napping, taking power naps, it really freshens you up. I like to sleep when it comes time, dreaming is so sweet, its like another world where anything can happen.

im studying for finals too, just make sure not to "over study", I take alot of breaks to ease off the pressure and to give the brain a rest , though whatever works for you, everyone is different. Procrastination works for me in a way because i tend to have a short term memory when it comes to school topics. If i do not find it interesting, then im not going care for it (memory wise).

seriously guys, about 4 years ago i decided that i was sick of getting shitty sleep on my crappy spring mattress. so i went out and bought one of these , king size. Best 2.5k i have ever spent.... ever. the first night you will realize that its the best investment you can ever make for yourself. Lifetime warranty. a good bed is something you will always need, so spring for the big one. you will not regret it.

i go to sleep anywhere between 2 and 6 in the morning and wake up on a daily basis between 8-9. so at most i can get maybe 7 hours, and at least around 2. i usually wake up with plenty of energy though. but every so often, roughly 2-3 weeks time, i have one day where i sleep like 12-14 hours. for me that was today...got a good 12 hours of sleep in. and now i feel sleepy. haha. just can't sleep. stay up all night watchin tv and on the internet. been this way for the last 7 years or so.

The constant temp I agree. If my room gets to hot I wake up and my next day is horrible. The upstairs thermostat is a fuckin demon in my house. So I've started to layer my bed for warmth. On the noise, I agree if my fan isn't on high.. I ain't sleeping. I think my reason is because of my schedule (finals week being worst) I dont have a certain set time for waking up or going to bed. It varies day to day and on weekends I crash and just sleep due to few hours of sleep during the week. |

Insomnia runs in my family, so maybe 1 or 2 times a week, I get little to no sleep. It sucks. Especially having a job that requires alot of customer service, and working with dangerous equipment... Try using a cutoff wheel on a broken exhaust stud with 2 hours of sleep, or trying to read the tiny print on a socket when you cant read the fucking time on your watch.
But I've read that some people have a 36 hour biological clock as opposed to a 24 hour one, like most people. They did a study, with so many people in a completly sealed facility for 6 weeks, and some people fell into an awake for 24 hours and sleep for 12, as opposed to the others' 16-8 schedule. IDK, that might be it for me... It just doesnt feel rigth for me alot of the time to go to bed at 10 o'clock. I usually dont get tired until about 2 or 3.
