Good to know you werent driving like an ass. Regardless, that's a public road and transited often. With regards to the whole carjacking, it's because they were two guys, alone up there. If I ever go to GMR, it's with a group of at least 5 guys or else no go just because of stupid shit like that.

^just pack some heat and you'll be fine....lol i kid, yeah but that road is a nice drive there are alot of roads....i'll go onto the bimmer forums one of these days cuz they go or used to go on a lot of drives and they have found some really nice roads.
