4.3 Ring & Pinion /KA NisTune / SR20 misc.
I have a complete Nitstune ECU set-up with the type 3 daughter board(KA24DE) installed. Comes with consult cable and log-in subscription.
Going with a different engine management system and no longer need this. I received this engine management in a trade and do not know any of the details of the prior tune SOLD I have for sale a 4.3 Ring and Pinion that fit directly into the R200 diff(S13/S14/S15/J30/non-turbo Z32). They're perfect if you're running a NA KA! $250 shipped plus PP Fee Last, I have a set of new OEM standard replacement piston rings for the SR20. Turns out I needed to get over-sized pistons and no longer need these. $100 Last edited by SlikRick; 05-22-2015 at 03:46 PM.. |

Don know where it originally came from, I bought it from a member on here by the name of smellslikecurry. And no, I never checked the runout on it. I've been daily driving and autocrossing on it for the last 2 years with no issues.

Yeah that's interesting. I haven't came across that ratio, and I've been looking at rear end changes for a month straight.

^Nice.
I'd be interested if the runout was known to be good. I already dropped a bunch of money on one only to find out it's bad (warped ring gear) I can hardly give the damn thing away by this point. |

Have you tried to see if those bolts that came with the ring gear pass through the holes of a s13 or s14 diff? because i have the same ratios and found out that the bolts that came with my ring gear weren't compatible to fit on my kaaz diff due to being larger.

I don't know about a S13 or S14 diff because I don't have one around my shop but the bolts I have attached to this ring were used on a 2 way kaaz diff in a s13 pumpkin. I had a transmission shop install this R&P and diff into my s13 pumpkin when i first bought everything 2 years ago and they never advised me of the bolts being too large for the diff. I've been running this ring & pinion for 2 years changing the kaaz oil in the diff every season (once a year) and have had no issues.

If you have a micrometer try measuring them.... they'll be either 12 or 13mm.
12mm = standard s13/s14, some j30 13mm = z32, vlsd, r32 If you have a aftermarket LSD then you'll need to be sure it has the correct bolt hole size. I just went through all of this and ended up having to take my new Cusco LSD to a machine shop so they could enlarge the ring gear holes. |
