s14 auto wont shift until higher rpm. throwing 2 codes. sensor?

vehicle: 1996 240sx all stock automatic. SE
so car was fine up until i replaced my leaky front "main" seal -crank seal. so simple job got the seal out replaced it. after i pressure washed the dirty greasy motor i covered the distributer, battery, and maf sensor and sprayed the motor and trans. got under the car also. after its all done i start it up and its fine everything looks and sounds good. next day i start it up and the CEL comes on i go to drive it and the rpm's go higher and higher and wont shift. i punch it they raise to 5500rpm then shifts hard i keep going and it shifts once more and wont go past that gear. i stop and go again and does the same thing if i try and cruise the rpms will just keep rising until almost redline then shift.
the codes are p0325 and p1705
these are knock sensor and throttle position sensor.
i just passed smog 1 week prior and the car was perfect before all this. so my question is would either of these cause the transmission issues im having or anyone know what i can try or check to fix this? any input is appreciated!
