Hello all. I am going on a vacation with the girlfriend in may to myrtle beach and i will be there for when the may 20th drift event is happening. wondering how many people actually go out to this event and how it is. im debating on taking my silvia down with a couple spare rims and hitting up the track, just wondering how many people actually go out?

A few years ago when I was still living in SC I would make it to the MB drift events just to spectate. On average I'd say there were around 10-15 cars there to drift. Really laid back atmosphrere, the guys that put it together (Marshall and Jeff) are really great as well. If you need any more info pm me and I'll point ya in the right direction.

i went to one, it was fun as hell. i really wanna go again. the guys that run the events are pretty relaxed. tech is basic, no cage required to tandem, and the wall separating the pits from the clipping point is about knee-high!! all your tools and crap will have a healthy dusting of rubber by the time you leave.
