what attaches windshield wiper rods 2gether to its motor?

my windshield wiper is broken, the rod that conects to the wiper pivots has fallen off the "balljoint" or whatever, can this be reassembled? can i get a balljoint off my friends 180sx front clip to reassmble my 240's windshield wipers?

Same parts for any year/chassis, the joints snap off the pivots.

Get a whole new rod assembly, don't bother screwing around with the actual plastic ball sockets.

Dude, I'll call you later, I just fixed my car when it did this. You take off the plastic cowling, and there is alittle metal bar that pops onto the wiper rm and attaches to the motor. If it "fell" off the ball joint, can't it just be poped back on? Mine could.

Mine kept popping back off my S14 so I finally ended up replacing all the linkage. try popping it back on and see if it stays. Chances are if it popped off the first time it had a reason which generally means the ball sockets are wore out.
