So i had the craving for some handheld action.. got a DS lite on the way *used* with some passkey and mini sd card reader for it. I cant wait!! already gettin the games to use on it. anyone else got a DS lite??

seems u can do alot of stuff with it when u use homebrew programs

Yeah. I bought a psp for myself. It is ok but the game selection still sucks for the most part.

But my sisters ds on the other hand...

I'm always trying to take it from her for a play or two.

Takes you back to the fun you had with the nes.

yah thats why i wanted to get one.. simplicity in games is awesome, tho i did like my cousins PSP, but modified used PSPs *the early versions are the better ones to mod* are running like $300 bucks etc..

I got one with everything. Its pretty cool. I mostly play games and havent loaded moonshel (the media player). I love my DS. Final Fantasy III is owning my life right now.

Trauma center is good and so is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I have a 1gb MicroSD with mine and have about 22 games on there. I've only played MarioKart and Mario Bros for a little while.

Check out www.dualscene.net for updates on game releases and such.

If you install Moonshell, let me know how you like it.

thanks for the link, i been lookin for good sites.. the Lite i got on order has the supercard and passkey.. but i think its the supercard minsd.. i got a 2gig mini sd card on the way too.

i might wanna order a a supercard lite for it jus so it will be hella flush lol

If you got the Supercard miniSD, you are going to have the cartridge stick out from the bottom of the DS. The miniSD Supercard doesnt sit flussshhh.

ahah yah i might order the supercard lite rumble.. dang now this thing is gettin expensive lol. .i ordered the nintendo DS browser by Opera for it (european english) so i could go online via wifi with it.

I was hoping that someone would come out with a GPS system for it. I mean they have it for pocket pcs/cellphones and others. But Ive never seen a wifi gps sensor. Im just dreaming now.

I'm thinking of picking up a GB Micro after the holidays. I don't play many games, and I think the ultra compact design is pretty cool. You guys have me looking at the Lite now. Hmmmmmmm choices.

I have mixed thoughts on the ds-x. 512mb only? whats up with that? Not expandable? Same price as supercard/superkey/and microsd ($130)? totally not worth it for me.

Ive heard you can have people download off you with the DS-x but I cant confirm. Thats the only plus they have going for them if its true.

hmm i didnt realize that the supercard lite and all the other lite card readers use micro sd, and i didnt know micro sd was different then mini sd.. ugh and i ordered a 2gb mini sd.. i guess ill stick with the supercard mini sd that is comin with my ds, since the price for a 2gb micro sd and a supercard lite would be over $100...

i ordered the ds browser from play-asia for like $50.. the torrent roms prolly wont work becuase it uses an extra cartrigde in the gba slot possibly for etxra ram broswer cache or something from what i understand..

i didn't even know homebrew programs existed for the ds lite. damn i've been too busy w/ school. after seeing this i really wanted to mod my ds lite. but i question which flash cart to use.

I didnt think 1gb would be enough, but it honestly is more than enough. Youll be able to fit the games you really play, like FF3, Mario Kart/Bros, and Trauma center along with moonshell and some media. If you are more into the media side with your ds 2gb might be optimal.

I would suggest getting a Superkey and Supercard lite. Its what I have and love it. I only stick to playing DS games and one nes game. If you want to play GBA games on there you might want to look at the M3 lite. The M3 has better support for GBA games so Ive heard.

I actually picked up the Micro, and i gotta tell ya, its pretty sick.

the reviews don't do justice to the thing.

the only thing i dislike about the Micro is when i use my headphones. But still, awesome.

Micro = GBA games. No old-version GB/GBC games, cuz it doesn't fit.

I've got all 4 FF games on the cartridge. WOOOTAGE.

FF6 Port would be awesome!

Yeah I got a lite and and passkey2/m3. Works pretty good. Although I have to admit some games that I download off the internets dont always play nicely multiplayer with real carts.

nintendo comes up with the coolest stuff, haha i think the new wii is awesome, the ds lite looks pretty crazy too. i would probably pick a wii over a ps3 and a ds lite over a psp

FFIII too of course, but after playing XII . . Random battles sucks.

DS Lite + G6Lite + FlashME + Blackcatgames = Hours of fun.

sweet, these micros are on sale for 39.99 at walmart and im thinking of getting one, why? because theyre sooo tiny!! but they only play GBA games and i think the screen is actually smaller than an SP correct?
