Anime...or whatever you like to call it..
i personally think it's dope...i'd like to get an idea of what people are watching these days...
we'll eliminate the obvious from this board: Initial D... i recently got hooked on: Vampire Hunter D & Naruto both are like 16 or so episodes and excellent...although Naruto is a bit of a bitch and it can be annoying...lol.. old school: Ninja Scroll, the movie, is sick...the subsiquent Episodes though lack something from the original... Ghost in the Shell... your thoughts................................ |

My brother watches some of it, but I was never able to get into it personally... I notice that sometimes people tend to get SO involved with fanship it becomes almost obsession and that gets a bit annoying, makes it damn near impossible to even hold conversation sometimes...

I've only watched some of the more famous stuff like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Beboy(my favorite), Big O and some other random stuff. I thought the Akira manga was much better than the anime. My roomate used to watch all the shows on Adult Swim, so I had to watch Inuyasha and that Robin show which I think are horrible . He's not too bright though because I had to explain to him that they were made in Japan and that is why all the credits are of Japanese people.

yah i watch naruto too, i started when it was up to like episode 60, so i watched them all pretty fast over the course of a month, now i wait weekly for my naruto fix!

geesh umm lets see out of all the ones listed theres like 2 I havent seen... both of them in Maeda's list. I really miss my gunsmith cats tape. I think about it everytime I see his avatar. cant forget these;

ive seen a lot of stuff my step bro has...never really got into it...but i did like akira and ghost in the shell (isnt there a tv series on it now)...
how about posting up some good anime movies?

vampire hunter d is the shiz,,just watched one a couple days ago..theyre from the 80s though..Patlabor is alright also..or heat guy j.. my friend has one where every other scene was a panty shot,,i forgot the name of that one,funny tho..

You guys are forgeting one of the best ive EVER seen. Tekkaman Blade 2!! OwNz aLL!! DBZ/GT is pretty good too. Akira, Ninja Scroll, Outlaw Star, Dragon Pink! <-- Not recommended for young ones though. LoL. ShHhH.

No Hajime no Ippo fans up in here? Victorious boxers, the game based off the show, also was the best boxing game since Mike Tyson's Punchout.
Current shows that I'm watching are Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist. Full Metal is almost in the top 5 best I've seen and I've seen a shitload of anime. The best movies are Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell cuz they are so classic and just kick so much ass. I can watch those movies every day of my life and never get bored of them. Other noteable ones are the Macross Plus series and of course the stuff by Studio Ghibli. Another thing to note is that if yoko kanno is doing the music for a show, it must be good. Examples would be Escaflowne, Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop, etc. Best Shows Evar 1. Hajime no Ippo 2. Naruto 3. FLCL 4. Cowboy Bebop 5. Hikaru no Go Best Movies Evar 1. Ninja Scroll 2. Ghost in the Shell 3. Akira 4. Macross Plus 5. Ghibli Sheeit |
