yeh i'll be there. i have flatblack hatch with the same wheels as you, dont know if you noticed me, i only been to 4 events. you been killing out there. cant wait for it! i like those skirts, what are they?

yea man ive seen you out there! and ive only done 4 events to, this one will be my 5th. just come up and introduce yourself im a pretty chill guy lol

and im not really sure what the skirts are.. a friend has origin skirts and they look identical so i think they are knockoffs of those...

well i figured i should post up some of the parts that will be going on the car soon. been collecting these for a few months

gt2871r .64
megan manifold
arp headstuds

also have
hks cams 264 intake 272 exhaust
nismo 740cc injectors
bc valve springs and retainers
cometic head gasket
peak rocker arm stoppers
greddy wideband

hopefully will be putting all of this in after the event on the 16th. still have a few things to get...

whats everyones opinion on clutches? ill be needing a new one with the turbo upgrade. heres the three im thinking about. feel free to suggest one that isn't listed.

exedy stage 2
spec stage 3

Nice work man, very nice build! I have been collecting parts for a similar turbo setup as well... I have a SPEC stage 2 clutch that came in my car when I bought it and I really like it. I had an ACT in another car and liked that as well, so I don't really think you can go wrong with any of the three you listed... keep it up!

you're doing a good job so far...sure it's not to the caliber of some builds on here, but you're doing a good job and it looks like you know what you're doing, and at age 18 that's damn good.

looks like you're dallying. i would not recommend the exedy stage 2 for daily. i have an exedy stage 2 and i daily, and it's harsh engagement. personally i like the harsh engagement and i like doing clutch kicks and it has been consistently good to me for 2 years and going strong.

i would go with something that is an organic pressure plate and has alot of clamping power. looks like you'll eventually be putting down some power.

while your'e there REPLACE YOUR PILOT BUSHING AND YOUR REAR MAIN SEAL!

thank you sir. and actually this isn't my daily. i have a s10 that i daily so im not to worried about harsh engagement. i just want to get what will hold up the best on the track. i drive this car maybe once a week on the street sometimes less than that.. and my pilot bushing was replaced when i put the motor in since it was auto when i got it and swapped to 5 speed but i will look into the rear main seal.. so with that said what clutch would you recommend?

Head gasket is no problem, it' just getting out of work long enough to do it.

And I don't know about the 26th, I want to. But I probably have to work. I'm gonna have the 240 done this week unless I run into some problems...which will probably happen. lol

alright guys i need your help. the motor is all back together and in the car but will not stay running. it will start up and run really rough for about 30 seconds then get flooded and die. then the only way for it to even attempt to start back up is to pull the plugs and let it air out for a couple hours. so i've been checking everything i can think of and haven't been able to get it fixed. any ideas? im open to anything right now.

here is what has been down since it ran last.

cometic headgasket
arp headstuds
bc valves
bc valve springs and retainers
peak rocker arm stoppers
nismo 740cc injectors
z32 maf
gt2871r .64
hks 264 intake 272 exhaust cams
enthalpy tuned ecu

before all of that the motor was running fine and was pretty much stock.

any help would be great. again the motor is getting way to much fuel.

did you put the CAS in correctly? could be something to look at.

yea ive pulled it out and made sure everything was lined up a couple times now. i read that it could be in upside down (180 degrees off) but i don't really see how that is even possible? anyone else have ideas? im going to try to get a fuel pressure gauge on it soon and see if maybe my stock fpr is bad. but it was running fine before the upgrades?
