S14 Passenger Headlight Not Working

Hello,

Just recently got my S14 import and the only issue real is that the passenger side main beam doesn't switch on.

I started by checking the fuses and each were fine.

I then switched each component to the driver's side (which works fine) from the passenger's side one at a time to find if there was a faulty bulb or HID ballast/ignitor. The oddness started when the components which weren't working on the passenger side all worked on the driver's side.

I busted out the multimeter and started checking for voltage at each connection on the passenger side, and the HID ballast and ignitor combo (which was working on the driver's side) was passing no voltage through to the bulb (which was also working on the driver's side).

After that failed, I bypassed the HID entirely with a standard H1 bulb and even that wouldn't come on, despite the fact the connectors had 12v running through them.

Has anyone had this issue? I am guessing this could be a faulty ground or something? Honestly, I do not have a clue.

Any suggestions of what I could try next would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Pretty sure the main harness runs inside the fender and when the car is lowered, the tire can rub through the wires.

Fixed now, ended up rewiring the 12v connection.
