A stock SR will be more reliable and less headache.
You are going to need to spend some money to buy a proper ecu instead of that safc, which is junk. |

I know its going to still need some work and i am planning on that. I'm not doing the swap myself since i do not have a garage to work at at the moment and wont for a few weeks as i am moving right now. As for reliability, i don't think it will be too bad considering it was rebuilt 2k miles ago. The full turn ket swap is costing my $3000 with tranny

^^ just be patient, looks like you have guys here willing to help you with a swap. you'd probably be better off spending 3 grand on an rb25 and we'll help you with a swap lol
i have a garage open for any swaps if anybody needs one in salem. |

To be honest, i am not the most mechanically inclined person, but i am learning. I think a shop is the best option at the moment. But it will obviously need work in the future and it would be great to meet up with some local people to help me out. i just feel a little sketch leaving a car/engine at some random persons house from a forum.

+1 to that.
If your KA runs fine, save your money, or spend it on susp and some other shit. Show up to a meet, we can probably still save you from yourself |

I been missing this lately...
I dont remember what your plan was to do with your car. but Don't bother getting that "turn key" swap. it will save you $ and time in long run. and be patient.. there will be already good deal around. |

As far as plans for the car, I'm going for a clean daily that is a blast to drive. I'm not trying to track it or anything. Maybe slide it around a tiny bit but nothing too serious
