This one car makes up for at least 100 Florida-Fail cars. I'm still kinda shocked this car is in FL and I've never seen it!

Hello, B. Levan. I followed this build in anticipation and you did not disappoint. Your car looks fantastic, and has changed my opinion on that type of rim (Where the spokes curve out and then curve back in).
Finally created an account to congratulate you on the article covering your car in Modified Magazine. I was flipping through my latest issue and was surprised to see your Silvia. Congratulations, again.

It kinda bothers me, they are OEM valences, and I'm not sure how to fix it. They fit very well everywhere else. it makes me wonder if the 180sx bumper skin is slightly different, but i HIGHLY doubt it. I have no real solution to it, feel free to suggest some. haha.
I have an entire JDM rear bumper for my type x, and there's no gap...

First of all, Thank you everyone for all the appreciation. Some time I will try to get around to some updates with the car. Nothing much has changed with it recently so I haven't been motivated to post. I've been very busy working on my old car so I don't have time to accomplish much else.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear it. Thank you good sir.

It was featured in the OCT 2012 issue of Super Street Magazine.

I would imagine that its because those valences were born with that bumper from the beginning? If not, then the bumper may be different. I just find it very hard to believe Nissan would make an entire new mold for such a subtle difference to compensate for those valences. Either way, I can't do much about it now haha. The car is finished

From Nissan. If you have a mini air buffer handy you can make your old one look like brand new. Use cleaner wax or fine buffing compound, and a little bit of patience... It will look like brand new

Amazing build man, car is gorgeous, was just looking at it in super street at the grocery store. My only gripe, the emblem.... So much attention to detail on the build, but you used the wrong emblem.... And to top it off, they put a close up of it in the mag.

Other than that, awesome.

Appreciated!
I used satin finish paint that was custom mixed. It was matched from the OEM color. The paint is made by a company called SEM.

Thanks.

Honestly, I didn't even think twice about that lol. I think it looks fine. I'm quite surprised you were particular enough to notice. Find me a brand new 1997 180sx Emblem and I will buy it. The reason one was not put on there was because I couldn't get my hands on a new one, or a MINT used emblem.

Contact the Nismo Shop. Ray got me the 180sx rear hatch emblem that I couldn't find anywhere.

Its called "Fender Rolling". You can use a baseball bat and a heat gun( not the cleanest but it works), Or get a heat gun and "Fender Roller." Fender Rolling is mostly done for going low on a wide wheel/tire. This also helps in decreasing the wheel hitting/scrubbing.
