hehe, yeah! aiming for 450/500whp on 98 pump gas.. fully forged bottom end, balanced crank, meassured all clearences, weight adjusted rods and pistons.. fully ported head, both exhaust and intake, and ignition chamber. i cant wait too see what it produces and what type of curve im getting.
the car will be running and "finished" by christmas i hope! |

Absolutely fantastic build sir!....quality fabrication and development. I appreaciate builds like these in particular for the simple reason that you are not bolting on a bunch of useless parts for cool points. I admire your thought process especially in doing the overfender modification...well done sir!. I also like the fact that you stuck with the CA18 instead of just replacing it with a different engine and putting in the time to build it to accomplish your goal. Good luck with the process, i'm eager to see the out come and thanks for sharing the process!

Hey. nice too hear some nice words about my work i like too be somewhat different, so thats why im sticking with the CA18 engine, and everyone is saying dit and dat about it beeing a crap engine.. they have NO clue too how awesome this engine is ,if you do the right things too it. It was prevously benched too 433whp and 560nm too the wheels, and that engine was built in 2007! i didnt do a thing too it when i opend it this time other than looking at the bearings. and they were completly fine :P after over 50.000km on 433whp |

The condition of the motor is not surprising....they are very stout when built and tuned properly....emphasis on the tune part. |
