I never mentioned anything about gas stations. And LA will never ever close down its roads for a track event unless its a big money thing. Only time streets are closed are for the Long Beach Grand Prix.

word. Desert Center is basically the halfway point between LA/OC and Phoenix.
And IIRC, there IS a gas station in Desert Center... It may be abandoned, though. lolol |

I think they should turn El toro in a Motorsports Park.
F' the "great irvine Park" No one even goes, not even close to being finished(no one even working on it) and all they have is that stupid Orange Balloon. Would be a source for jobs, and bring in revenue for the city. Do it , do it!

Land in Irvine is too damned expensive for to build some racetrack.
plus rest assured the residents are going to throw a fit. Forget about Los Angeles building a racetrack! Not going to happen. Location-wise, yeah it's not that great. then again what is? Well, CA Speedway is decent, & Willow Springs is too if you live in LA Wish more tracks would be built along the 5 from LA to SF. It's just a desolate wasteland w/ a couple of farms. The have broke ground on it. Haven't heard to much else about it. They were supposed to be done last year to do motorcycle trackdays on it. I have a trackday scheduled in march to go out there on my bike. it had better be done by then.

Have any of you guys heard of Pala Raceway? Pala Raceway
Last i heard they only had a couple of the dirtbike tracks finished. But i think this would be an awesome place to throw a drift/autocross course in. Theyre already going to have a kart course. i think we all should email them asking to put a track in. haha. Its right next to temecula so its not thaaaat bad of a drive for southern californians. |
