tire stretch gurus

i will be purchasing some 17 inch rims that are 9 inch wide in the front and ten inches wide in the back.. what is the hottest profile size to get 40 or 45 and what about the witdh .. should it be streched or not.. what an apporpriate size tire. i have a comeplet body kit all around that isnt really aggressive its the origin lab type 2 i believe..

i have no clue what to do so an help would be gretaly appreciaetd.

what's the offset? You do know the reason why people stretch tires for right? It's for fender clearance...

and sidewall size depends on what width you wanna go with.

17 on all four with stock fendsers in the front and a slight pull in the back.

225/45 for stock diameter with a low offset 9j. For higher offset and you have some clearance, 245/40 17s and itll be square.

run like 215/40 in the front and 225/40 out back If you have decent offsets, but really you need to read that thread.
