So what part of America requires 1,000 HP to do the speed limit?
You can just say it's a "Demo car" and we'll understand. Because even the Bugatti Veyron wasn't built as a "Street Car".

Yeah, I always run 60-160 in Mexico. Speed limits are different down there, lol. |

In all actuality, even if it IS a demo car in its primary purpose, UM owns it and they can do what they want with it, I just hope I dont see him on the news in a 190+ mph " try to outrun the helicopters and radios" chase... that would be a waste of a beautiful car.
I will give you 3$ for it. Cmon! Even Trade!

Just an update, the new Borg Warner S374 (74mm) turbo is being installed on the car tomorrow.
The 4" piping will be fabricated next week, and then the upgraded fuel system will be installed. I'm hoping to break 900whp in my street car, and I'll be posting photos of the progress. |

I was hoping this was going to be a bolt-on affair, with just new 4" piping needing to be fabricated......right....
The new turbo hit the valve covers, so Jason @Matchless Performance came to the rescue to modify the exhaust manifold. The block looks so lonely without it's friend. Starting the modification work on the manifold, basically changing the angle on the flange so the turbo sits flush. So now....the actions shots... Borg Warner 74mm vs my old 63.5mm GT4088R [IMG]http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w129/r25558/riggs240sx014.jpg[/IMG Man, Jason knows how to work by the clock. Took right at 3 hours from start to finish, very impressive. Look at the clearance....Almost makes me want to go bigger, hum.... |

nice. very nice.
I don't think anyone has asked this yet, but what camera is used to take these shots? What are the specs? The pics are amazingly crisp. Keep up the good work. |

Here's the latest update, the car is finished with the Borg Warner 74mm Single Turbo, and the new 4" Downpipe and Exhaust. The turbo back exhaust is straight 4” piping broken into three pieces via V-bands. Photos are posted below.
This thing sounds absolutely wicked, and we are putting together a dyno video to post up. I want to thank Matchless Performance in Addison, TX for the piping work, as it came out flawless. |

Wooooow lots of time and even more money were put into this car. Big props to you guys building such an awesome car. No disrespect, but do you think you'll be able to handle a car with 900+whp? I know I wouldn't.

So not to split hairs but...what do you exactly do with this car when it's running?

On regular tires, the car is downright useless. The only tire I will drive on the street with is the ET Street Radial, and it may not hold up to the task with the new turbo. That tire is working for the Big HP Supra and Viper Guys, so I have to assume it will work. Time will tell.... |
