z32 maf installation into sr20 black top

Just got a n62 maf, sr20 blacktop

wires are white,black, black/white, orange

been looking at guides and arrcoding to the diagrams the orange and the black are the grounds. the white is the +12 volt and the white/black is the signal out. wired it according to the guide and it starts strong but when you rev it, it seems as though its dying.

i connected everything correctly the black/white(12v), grounds orange to chassis and the black the the ground wire, and white(.5v). it will start but will sputter and then stall. for some reason if you take the chassis ground and touch it with the (.5v) it will idle perfectly but won't rev past 2.5k
