We also have a JZ Mount kit for the S Chassis.
We are doing a re-design on the previous models to add strength. This is a photo of our previous model The Version 2 Mounts will be a thicker material and have added bracing.

hmm but it doesn't have the slot going lengthwise like the xcessive mount though. Its nice to have to fine positioning of the engine.
BUT I do like how zerolift has an additional support. |

Agreed that I do like the added support of the Zero Lift but I also agree that I like the added adjustability laterally with the way that Xcessive designed their mounts, any chance you could combine best of both worlds in the new design Zero Lift?

Too bad zerolift doesn't have good customer service, I wouldn't order mounts through them.
All my friends have been impressed with xcessive's customer service on the other hand, so that's who I'd go with, their mounts look pretty awesome. And just curious, why would you guys want to adjust the motor from being off center? The xcessive mounts make it so you can slide the motor forwards or as far backwards as you want, seems like that's a better design to me. Last edited by waste_of_space; 06-05-2012 at 11:18 AM.. |

Im probably going to go with Excessive. I emailed them last nite and they got back to me first thing this morning. They say all their products are covered by warranty along with no need to customize your crossmember. Can't beat the price and customer service

Jr, no problem. Our harness will be $695 + shipping. If we need to do changes to the*harness*like*the*AEM or any other custom work, it will be a couple of $$ extra.*
We'll need to know a few small details Single*or twin? Injector style connectors OEM or AEM MAP setups Auto or manual chassis Thats about it Let me know what you think and we can get you on board for*the*first batch.* * Thanks Yury Lyalko Wiring Specialties

I have a few questions. What would be considered "custom" vs a turnkey harness for a standard 2jz aristo swap? I am doing an aristo swap (standard twin turbo w/stock ecu) with a R154 5-speed transmission, into a s13 that was previously automatic.
basic requirements for completion would be: 1)working speedo and rpm 2)resistor box for usdm 550cc injectors. 3)maybe a boost cut defencer. Last question, the price you mentioned, is that with or without core? I might have missed it, looking at other examples on your website. Thanks and great job!! the community needs more reliable businesses in the market, now, more than ever. Quote:

Ok so I was thinking about the coolant system and maybe the ka radiator might be a bad idea and the sr one would be best due to the inlet and outlet being right Inline with each other that the water does not have time to be cooled. So maybe the sr radiator might be best due to the fact the coolant has more surface time with the radiator. So does anyone else have some input that might make this statement ok or does it even matter where the inlet and outlet not matter? (just trying to figure my engine running warm)

I also asked them about speedo/tacho functionality, and Yury told me the harnesses will come with wires prepped for the daktoa boxes, but it won't come with them (or you can have them include them, at an additional cost) So for the swap harness, plus a functional speedo/tacho you're looking at about $870 before any shipping ($700 for harness, $84.95 for each dakota digital interface.) |
